A couple of LO's to share . . .

On Sunday I did the Guitar Hero LO. It is of my DS when he won the Guitar Hero contest at our mall last summer. I used some letters that I got at TJ Maxx last summer - they are metal, and I stamped music notes with StazOn on them. I also used my new little sewing machine on the LO, and used my Coordinations paper that is black on one side and colored on the other. I ran a piece through my Cuttlebug and sanded it so that the red would show through. I seriously felt like I drug out "everything but the kitchen sink" for this LO. LOL (I know - I am showing my age by using that phrase!!!). The second LO I just did today. I was going through some things in my bedroom, and came across this little booklet that my son made me when he was younger. I just HAD to scrap it. I didn't feel like scanning in the pages so I just took pictures of them with my camera. It is the sweetest little book! I used some new Doodlebug paper that I got last time I went to Archivers. The letters were cut with my Cricut using Base Camp. Other than scrapping, not much else is going on here - I've been doing laundry all day. I am almost finished with it though. Yippeee!!! Well - I am off to figure out what my DS and I are having for dinner. My DH has a business dinner so its just us two. Talk to you soon! Steph

Soooo cute!! Remember when our kids were cute and they just loved us because? Now they love us more when we get them that next new expensive plaything. You know Joey will soon be sixteen, and what kind of expensive toy do you think he's going to want next? LOL Been there with two so far!! But you know all this, you've already survived one.

Love your layouts! That little book is so cute! Very cool idea to stamp the music notes on the letters. That looks great!
