Where have I been lately?

I haven't been blogging - thats for sure. Sorry about that! It seems that the days all run together anymore, I am so busy. A few weeks ago we moved my DD into her new dorm, and then two weeks later it was Mom's weekend and the first football game, and in between that, my DS started his sophomore year of HS - which means homework again. That is one thing about summer - I sure don't miss homework then! He is taking Media Design this semester and I honestly wish I was in the class. LOL He is learning all sorts of things in photoshop and also the basics and trends in design. It sounds like such a fun class. Besides all this, I have been busy around the house. My DD and I decided to switch scraproom/bedrooms. So I have been busy moving tons of stuff back and forth - for a while my whole body just ached because I was constantly running up and down stairs with stuff and furniture. This is what I was most worried about moving - my large Expedit from IKEA. Here is a picture of it before I sat it up - the thing is HUGE and when it was on the floor, it literally took up the whole room. (of course, this is a smal room, but still!!!) I took it all apart, and brought it upstairs and put it all together and when my DS came home from school he helped me set it up and it went rather smoothly. The first time I tackled this bad boy - it was a nightmare! I now have most of the stuff moved to the appropriate rooms, but still have a long ways to go. I'll try to post pics when it is all completed. In other news, I signed up for the Oh Shoot! class with Candace Stringham! It starts tomorrow. It is an online digital photography class and I am sooooo looking forward to it! It runs for 6 weeks and each week we will have an assignment and it is suppose to teach me to use the manual settings on my camera. This should be interesting. LOL I am afraid my dyslexia will get in the way - but I am going to give it a go anyway! I just love her photography tips on CKMB and in the mag - so I am sure it will be a fun class. Speaking of classes - I just put up a ticker on the blog - only 26 days until CKC KC! I can't wait for that. It will be here before you know it!
