Well, I found out last night that I did not get the job that I had applied and interviewed for a couple of weeks ago. I am starting to get discouraged. This is the third job that I have been turned down for at the place I work. I don't know what I am doing wrong - or maybe the job market is just too tough these days. Whatever the case, it is very discouraging, as I don't know how much longer I will have my current job. All I know is that it will end "soon".
So - to deal with my bad day yesterday, I had to have some retail therapy today! : ) I went to Michaels, looking for the new PageMaps book. I walked into the store with my 40% off coupon in hand, walked right up to the books, and there it was - the book I have been looking for - and only one left. It was meant to be, I tell ya! So off to the cash register I went. $16 something later, I have my PageMaps book. I seem to not be able to scrap anything without a sketch of some sort to get me started! I haven't had a chance yet to look at the book much - but hope to tonight. From what I did see, though - it is full of good stuff to copy! LOL
It is another dreary day here in the midwest - yesterday it was very hot - heat index made it feel like 111 degrees. Today it is much better, though it is cloudy and dreary looking out. It is my day off though - so it doesn't matter what it is like out there - as long as i am off work, I am a happy happy girl!

Sorry to hear the job search isn't going well....Keeping fingers crossed...we need to have a Retail Therapy day again soon..its always so much fun with you!
