We're finally home!

We came home on Wednesday. Yay!!! Its so nice to be able to shower in my own shower, sleep in my own bed and eat a meal at home for a change! Its the little things in life. LOL After spending 8 days in the hospital, we were sure ready to go home! My DD is doing wonderful. We are so happy that we went to Children's Memorial in Chicago - she got wonderful care, and the surgeons were absolutely the best. Now comes the fun - trying to keep her from doing too much at home. Fortunately (or unfortunately lol), she isn't in much pain, and is only taking tylenol, so she is extremely bored and wants to do things with her friends but can't because her doctor said to just lay around and be a couch potato for the next week. We go back next Thursday and Friday for followup appts. Hopefully they will tell her she can do things then. In the meantime - its going to be a LONG week!
