One down, 7 to go!!!

OK - on an earlier post, I showed you a puzzle piece that I decorated. For those of you who don't know why I did this - here's the story: A while ago, Detta from CKMB posted on her blog about a puzzle she had friends help her make. She had each friend decorate a piece to the puzzle, and when it was all done, she framed it. I thought this was such a cool idea. I looked and looked for a puzzle and could only find ones with small pieces. Then one day I was at my local Jeffrey Alan and there it was - right in front of me. A 9 piece chipboard puzzle! I was so excited. It was cheap too -another plus! So I picked 8 of my fun CKMB friends to each do a piece for me. I did the middle piece and put "Faraway Friends" on it because all of my CKMB friends live in various places in the US. Some of them live in my state but none of them live nearby. Its so much fun to meet people who share the same passion that I do for scrapbooking! I hope to someday meet even more CKMB girls!

Now - without further ado - here is my first piece. This one was created by Christie (cme37), a CKMB friend from Missouri (at least for now, huh, Christie!?!). I have met Christie and even got to take a class with her this past April at CKC in Collinsville. She is a super sweet girl and I am so glad we got the chance to meet! I love her puzzle piece! Isn't it the cutest! I love pink and brown together, and those flowers are so neat! And she told me her name is a rub-on - I seriously thought she wrote it - it is so neat and straight. I'm very impressed! Thanks, Christie!!!
